GUIDELINES FOR VOLUNTEERS
When will I find out if I got the job?
You will first receive a confirmation email regarding your registration as a volunteer.
We will contact you well in advance of the festival with your shifts and other practical information.
How LONG will I BE EXPECTED TO work?
Depending on the area you wish to work in and are assigned to, different schedules apply.
If you work before or after the festival, and complete enough hours, you will be able to attend the entire festival.
If you work one day during the festival, you will be able to attend the festival on the day you’re not working.
Exact working hours will be agreed upon once your work area is assigned.
What do I get?
A festival ticket corresponding to the number of hours you’ve worked.
You will be part of creating the highlight of the summer.
What are Verket’s requirements?
All volunteers must be sober while working, arrive on time, and complete all their shifts.
If you get your festival ticket but fail to show up for your scheduled shifts, you will be invoiced for the ticket price multiplied by 2.
You must notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to work your shift.
All volunteers represent the festival to the public.
Volunteers should not speak to the media unless it is in collaboration with the festival’s press and communications managers. Volunteers are bound by confidentiality regarding numbers and information shared that is relevant to the festival.
